Coloradans for Responsible Energy Development's Women’s History Month spotlight continues this week with Christa Zaharias, the President of Corrosion Integrity Solutions! As the daughter of an engineer in a refinery town, Christa grew up with a close understanding of the energy industry. Through college, she worked in several different areas within the oil and natural gas industry and loved it so much, she decided to make a career out of it. As an engineer, Christa knows that energy touches every part of our lives, every day. As a Coloradan, she loves being part of the constant innovation taking place across the energy industry; something she sees firsthand across the state, from new technology to modern engineering practices. Carole will talk about the highlights of the reserves process - how remaining oil and gas in the reservoir is calculated and the value of the reserves to the company. She will also discuss her type curve development process that models the way producing wells decline and is used to predict the performance of current and future wells.
