A Personal Note from WOGA Board Member & Lean In Director, Kat Mann
It’s that time of year again! I’ve been putting on a lot of miles and cross training getting ready for the Venus de Miles. I’d love your support for team WOGA. In addition to the link below, I have added a Pampered Chef fundraiser option. You can click on the link, shop on line, and 40% of all sales from today through Aug 12 will go directly to Greenhouse Scholars. We are down to just over 2 weeks so my big fundraising push is going up a gear!
The Venus is the only all women’s ride in CO and all proceeds go to the Greenhouse Scholars Greenhouse Scholars: Program Components and Results. I am very proud to report that my mentee Stevie has successfully graduated, taught English in Korea, is now working full time for the Denver Justice system, and is getting ready to pursue a PhD program in UT. Based on the applications I reviewed, this year’s crop of scholars will be another stellar class. The Women’s Oil & Gas Association is sponsoring our team again this year so we will be representing the industry here as well.
