Since 2020 the world has embraced virtual presentations as a means to extend one’s network and broaden their sphere of influence. However, presenting in this format is not inherently intuitive, and mastering it involves learning key techniques to captivate your audience and ensure your message resonates effectively. This presentation offers invaluable insights on enhancing virtual presentations for various audiences, whether they are internal or external, all while leveraging the expertise of Ed Tate. Ed Tate, a renowned authority in Winning High Stakes Presentations and the winner of the 2000 World Championship of Public Speaking, has developed a set of tools that will be shared to help you elevate your virtual presentation game.
Bonnie Ellwood is a Petroleum Engineering polymath, who has demonstrated exceptional project management skills while overseeing extensive oil and gas operations. Her expertise in environmental regulations, with a focus on safety, has consistently shone through. Leveraging Lean/Six Sigma training, she has successfully streamlined business processes for increased efficiency. Proficient in cross-departmental communication and public speaking skills, she has effectively engaged with colleagues at all organizational levels. She has honed her public speaking skills through her continuous dedication to Cherry Creek Toastmasters, where she met Ed Tate. She graduated from the University of Texas, with a Bachelor’s degree in Geosystems Engineering and Hydrogeology. She has spent the majority of her career at Encana and Enerplus working in a myriad of Operations Engineering roles, including Production, Completions, Facilities, and Environmental. She’s worked Operations in the Jonah field, the DJ Basin, the Powder River Basin, and the Bakken.
