LEAN IN DECEMBER 2022: YOU ARE A BADASS!

.

Hope everyone is already digging into their book, You are a Badass, for our upcoming book club event in December led by Melanie Adams. Be ready to “strengthen your almighty awareness muscle” and have an Open mind and we promise you will get a lot of out of the book! One of Mel’s favorite quotes so far “all of us are connected to the limitless power (of the universe) and most of us aren’t using but a fraction of it.” Let’s find that power and use it already! See you Dec 8th.

.

Melanie is a proud multi-generation Colorado Native and a 20+ year veteran of the energy industry. She holds a Masters degree in Environmental Policy/Natural Resource Mgmt from the University of Denver and a bachelors degree in Business Management from the University of Colorado at Denver. Having spent 18 years of her career at one of the majors in town, she now helps small(ish) operators in regulatory compliance, permitting, and other various projects including developing a dynamic ESG report for a service provider. Knowing this industry is an integral part of Colorado’s economy and the energy transition she and her team are experts in Colorado regulations. Additionally, based on her experience with PPE in the field, she is also bringing professionally appropriate women’s flame resistant clothing (FRC) to the market with her new clothing brand, Embher. She wants to be sure all women are comfortable and confident in their clothing wherever they work.

Melanie enjoys traveling both locally and internationally with her husband, who’s in an unrelated, yet equally awesome industry of wine importing. She also loves golfing, hiking and fly fishing and is in her 5th year as Chair of the Advisory Board for the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
